Cortland Place Celebrates National Nursing Home Week and Honors Nurses
Mr.
Norman Audino, Sr., Mr. Norman Audino Jr., owners of Cortland
Place, along with Executive Director, David
Jaskinski, hosted a BBQ in honor of their nurses Friday, May 14,
2010 at the facility’s al fresco dining patio. Chef Marc Ruggio and his food and nutrition team cooked up a tasty menu of good old fashioned hamburgers, hotdogs, classic Italian sausage and peppers, fresh sweet corn, secret recipe baked beans, homemade potato & macaroni salads, sweet & sour coleslaw along with pickles & chips. This fabulous feast was topped off with succulent sliced watermelon and ice cream novelties for dessert!
All nurses were presented a heart-felt nursing scroll poem and custom designed Cortland Place t-shirts. A memorable afternoon was had by all.
